This will hopefully be an on going series. It’s my way of experimenting with Hipstamatic and getting to know all the films and lenses I have at this point. I’ll probably add more of both to the app as I hopefully get better at using it.

 

 

 

As you can see my composition needs a little work. After taking them with hipsta I put them through Snapseed and Mextures.

Waiting

I'm sitting in the waiting area while my car is being serviced so to pass the time I'm editing photos on my phone. Not something I usually do as the screen is much too small for my slowly fading eyesight. Much prefer to edit on my iPad. 

This is a photo I took yesterday using hipstamatic. I've put it through Glaze, Image Blender, Distressed FX and Mextures.

Two apps, Slow Shutter Cam and Snapseed.

So don't discard those not quite so good shots, turn them into abstracts. It's a lot of fun and the results can be quite amazing. 

Photo Walk

I drove to a couple of local parks yesterday and today and snapped quite a few pictures, I wanted to try out different combinations of hipstamatic lens and films. Being a newbie to hipsta I was curious to see how lighting and different situations effected the different combos. Still getting my head around it all but having fun too.

Hipstamatic

I finally took the plunge and downloaded hipstamatic. Here's a few pics I took today, it does have a fairly steep learning curve.....well for me it does.
